Job Title: Qualified Accountant

Client Base: Personal and Business Clients (Local and International)
Job Purpose:
To provide high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a wide range of personal and business clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client portfolios, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations, and delivering insightful financial advice.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local Cypriot regulations.
Manage bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and tax compliance for a portfolio of clients.
Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
Conduct audits and prepare audit files for review.
Assist with corporate structuring, tax planning, and cross-border advisory.
Ensure timely submission of tax returns and statutory filings.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve client service delivery.
Stay updated with changes in Cypriot and international tax laws and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant with one of the following Indian qualifications:
– CA (Chartered Accountant) – ICAI
– CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) – ICMAI
– ACCA/CPA (if additionally qualified)
Recognised equivalency or eligibility to practice in Cyprus (support for conversion may be provided).
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in a busy accountancy practice.
Proven experience handling both personal and corporate clients.
Exposure to international clients or cross-border tax matters is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of IFRS and Cypriot tax regulations (training can be provided).
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant (CA – ICAI, CMA – ICMAI, or equivalent)
Eligibility to practice in Cyprus or willingness to obtain recognition
Experience:
3–5 years post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice

Knowledge:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS
Familiarity with Cypriot tax laws (training can be provided)
Awareness of international tax and compliance issues
Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication in English
